Tuesday classes
‘The A Train’ – Improvers class and social dancing

7.30pm – 8.30pm – Improvers class
8.30pm onwards – Practice time and social dancing
£8 for class and dancing, £4 entry after 8.30pm
No need to book – no partner needed – wear flat, comfy shoes.
This class is aimed at those who have some experience of Lindy Hop/Swing dancing (we recommend you’ve had about 6 months beginners lessons and/or have had a few dances socially and felt they went well!) or those who are used to dance classes and can pick things up easily. In this class we recap some of the basic moves and then add either styling or work to improve technique.
After the class a DJ will play swing music and there is a bar in the venue, ideal for practicing and getting to know your fellow dancers.
Wednesday classes
Solo Jazz, Beginners and Intermediates Lindy Hop Classes
Please note on Wednesday 11th December Solo Jazz and Intermediates classes will be at the Islingword Inn, 175 Queens Park Road, Brighton. There will be no Beginners class. This is a one-off Wednesday night venue change.

Absolute beginners suitable for those who have never danced before or those who want to nail the basics.
Intermediate class for those who have been dancing around a year and are comfortable on the social dance floor, these classes improve and perfect your dancing and we do not teach the beginners moves in this class.

Learn to Lindy Hop, the Daddy of all swing dances! In this 6 week course you’ll learn all the basic moves in a small group. You don’t need a partner and you don’t need any experience as we’ll be teaching from the absolute basics. We recommend you wear flat shoes and layers, as the class can get hot as we start to dance.
Traditionally in Lindy Hop the Men lead and the Women follow, however we DO NOT stick to this tradition there are many female leads and male follows in the scene so please feel free to chose which ever role you prefer.
These fun and friendly classes take place in a friendly environement and you’ll be dancing with the same people each week in a small group to encourage personal development.
